Let the number of $200 tickets sold be x then The number of $100 tickets sold be (x+380) then The number of $400 tickets sold be x/4 200x+100(x+380)+400(x/4)=86000 200x+100x+38000+100x=86000 200x+100x+100x=86000-38000 400x=48000 x=120 so the number of $400 tickets sold is: 120/4=30
