我想砌部新機(for打機&睇普通片) 但係就唔知要用咩硬件 我想要2GB RAM (1GBx2) Good Display card 120~160GB hard disk 1 DVD drive 1 DVD burner 打機時唔會lag機就得架la 請各位高手幫我set 條handware的清單出黎等我去買 唔該also寫幾錢 因我唔知點皮夾D硬件先work budget: below $4500 Thank you very much 更新: please explain in detail if you can please also teach how to match the CPU, motherboard and display card

Hi.. In order to match the CPU, motherboard, RAM and Graphic Display card. Here is the following: I) CPU to Motherboard: 1) you hv to see what kind of CPU do u want, AMD or Intel, then u go for the either AMD motherboard or Intel motherbaord because AMD and Intel hv the different socket. 2) If you pick a CPU, think about which type of CPU do you want, because different types of CPU have different socket (including both AMD and INTEL). For example, if you pick a Intel CPU, there are Core series, Pentium M series, Xeon series, etc. Each of these CPU types have different socket. Core Series - LGA 775 socket Pentium M - M socket Xeon - Socket 604 Base on these socket type, then find out which motherboard that can support the CPU socket. II) RAM to Motherboard 1) Well...for the RAM, you need to find out which type of RAM is your motherboard would support. you can look at the specification of the box, it will tell you something about DDR2, DDR3, etc. here is the example below: Memory Number of Memory - Slots 4×240pin (you can put up to 4 RAMS) Memory Standard - DDR2 1066 (it can only support the DDR2 RAM that run Max. of 1066 speed) Maximum Memory Supported 8GB (it can only support up to 8 GB of memory) III) Graphic Card 1) Usually Graphic Card is run on the following Slot below: PCI Express 2.0 x16 Slot PCI Express x1 Slot PCI Express x16 Slot All you hv to do is just look at the motherboard specification and see if you motherboard contain either one of those slot, then you can just buy a graphic card and plug it in there.
